Niugini organic virgin raw coconut oil is single origin from Papua New Guinea, has a subtle coconut aroma adds a very mild pleasant hint of coconut to food. This oil is very heat stable, with a smoke point of about 180 degrees C, so it makes an excellent cooking and frying oil.
Because of the natural stability of coconut oils it is slow to oxidize and thus resistant to rancidity, lasting up to two years. As coconut oil is high in natural anti-oxidants, it is not necessary to refrigerate it. Simply keep it in the pantry cupboard.
