Just the presence of a lemon tree in the garden with the yellow fruits shining amongst the leaves is an uplifting experience. Lemon oil is made from the rind of lemons, liquid sunshine in a bottle, an easy way to bring sunshine into your home.
Using 15 drops of lemon essential oil in 50ml carrier oil and using for massage is a great gall bladder, liver and lymphatic tonic. Undiluted it can be dabbed on a wart up to 6 times a day and keep covered with a bandaid until the wart disappears.

As a reviver for wooden furniture mix 10 drops of lemon oil into ½ cup of olive oil and use a soft cloth to rub over the timber.
To bring concentration and relieve mental fatigue put a few drops of lemon essential oil in a diffuser in the workplace. Adding a couple of drops of rosemary increases the effect.
